![]() Once all five statues have been activated the platform will transform into a massive teleporter that will transport the player to the Glass Desert. Luckily, these slimes are found all over the Ancient Ruins, so acquire these plorts and return in order to activate these statues. All five of these statues will need to be filled with Quantum Slime plorts in order to activate them. Rather than being in a brand new area, the player will instead find themselves in front of a large platform surrounded by five statues similar to the ones that locked the large gate at the entrance to the ruins. There is a Boom Gordo Slime not too far away from the gate that the player can use to acquire the key and get inside. Inside of this temple, the player will once again find another Slime Gate that needs to be opened using a Slime Key. At the very end, they will come across a small temple looking structure next to a portal back the ranch. This area can be a little confusing to explore, but players will just need to follow the different shiny doorways that lead through in order to make it all the way to the end of the zone. Once the gate has been opened the player is able to enter the Ancient Ruins and begin exploring. Players will need to find a plort there and bring it back to open the gate. The Honey Slime though is a new variant that can only be found inside the Moss Blanket. Luckily, the player has most likely seen and acquired almost all of these slimes before, so getting their hands on them shouldn't be too much of an issue. Players will need Tabby, Phosphor, Rock, Honey, Boom, and Rad plorts in order to activate all of these statues. Each of these slots will need to be filled with a separate kind of plort in order to activate them and open the gate. By going left from here the player will be able to enter the Moss Blanket area, but straight ahead is a massive stone gate that will lead to the Ancient Ruins. The player will need to use Slime Key (acquired by feeding a Gordo Slime until they burst) to open this door which then leads to an area called the Transition. ![]() In order to make it to the Ancient Ruins, the player will need to make their way all the way through the Indigo Quarry area until they come across a locked door. The very first thing that players will need to do in order to make their way to the Glass Desert is first to be able to unlock the Ancient Ruins area of the map, which in and of itself is no easy feat since it is the last area on the main part of the map. Getting to the Glass Desert is very tricky because the player will need to acquire several keys, solve a couple of different puzzles, and navigate one of the more confusing locations in the entire game. Slime Rancher - How to Access the Glass Desert This guide shows players how to make it to the Glass Desert and how to activate the Oases. Once the player does arrive though they are then tasked with activating new objects called Oases that will require some work on the player's part. This area exists separately from the rest of the map and the game doesn't exactly give any indication on how to get there. Without a doubt, the most difficult and most interesting areas of the game for the player to track down though is The Glass Desert.
