There are some things you can do in the Performance Shop that don't necessarily affect your ride. ![]() It is often easiest to go to the Auto Upgrade menu and tell it to upgrade your car to the best parts that are currently available and can be afforded. The parts are separated into levels, so which manufacturer you decide to put in has no bearing on the performance. Here, car upgrades can be installed (after you unlock them in Career Mode) that will improve the speed, acceleration, and handling of your car. The Performance Shop is where you'll upgrade the most important parts of your car. The other disadvantage is that you won't unlock these until late in Career Mode. ![]() These are the most expensive cars in the game, but the price of admission is worth it. As soon as they are available, you won't go back to anything else.Īlong with great functionality comes a high price tag. These cars have the best acceleration, top speed, and handling. You probably won't use them outside of the SUV/Truck only races (unless you're like us and just have to cruise around in a Cadillac Escalade EXT with a spoiler).
